THE FRARY'S HAVE LANDED! Mom and Tim got here safe and sound Thursday morning at about 11:30! Despite a horrifically long customs line, a taxi driver that didn't speak a word of English and a traffic accident, they made it! : ) They are renting an apartment that is about half a block away from my house! Grace gave us the great idea to rent an apartment and it ended up being a whole lot cheaper and closer than any hotel in the city! (cheaper than Super 8!) haha. We spent the first day just catching up, getting a feel for the neighborhood and trying the food of course! Friday brought tons of rain but we made lemonade out lemons, and made a trip to the Museo of Bellas Artes! Mom and Tim braved the public transportation like champs, and got a kick out of the CRAZY bus drivers and traffic at rush hour! We went to my house yesterday afternoon so they could meet Grace and we spent a couple hours chatting with Grace and Emma! I did my best to translate but ended up talking to Mom and Tim in Spanish and then to Grace in English! IT WAS SO HARD! hahah. It was so cool for my mom to finally get to meet my Argentine mom, Grace, and I will admit that a few tears were shed by all : ) Like Grace said last night, it's not coincidence that I ended up with her as my host mom, God has blessed me so much!
Well we are getting ready to head out to El Tigre for a day on the Delta, thought I would let you know that the Frary's are safe and they will be billingual by the time I send them North again! : )
