Happy Friday Night!
Thursday brought many new adventures in the capital city : ) My most confusing class of the day was my only class taught in English... hahah. OF COURSE! I think all of us in the class were having a bit of a hard time following the social economy teacher that day, hopefully next week will be better : ) Gaston (from running club) and I met up for coffee after classes for a little language exchange! He is from a small town outside of BA and is studying to be a translator so he is a really good person to help me with my Spanish and he likes Harry Potter soooo that naturally gave us plenty to talk about : ) It was fun getting his take on which things in English are hardest for him, he said that some of our sayings are a bit confusing, such as "Are you pulling my leg?" I told him that he's better off just not using that one!
Nena, Emma and I met up with a bunch of the "young adults" that go to our church for dinner last night! It was a blast! There were about 10 of us in all, we walked about an hour to get to the place they finally decided to eat at, debated prices for another hour or so and finally decided on the first place at about 11, but then had to wait for a table! : ) It was so much fun though because we were all able to talk a bunch and get to know each other during the wait! The dinner was "vale la pena" (worth the wait), incredibly huge and delicious amounts of food and the company was great! Four of us are studying things in the medical field so it was interesting to hear how school works for them down here! Lots of crazy photos were taken and it was nice because we traveled as a group to each person's bus stop to wait for the colectivo to arrive so no one waited alone, really awesome group of people : )
A friend from running club, Meghan, and I went to a women's Bible Study at a church on the outskirts of town this morning. The leader is a missionary's wife and the group consisted of American women whose husbands work down here, a woman from Puerto Rico and 2 from BA : ) It was a really great study, and they were all so nice and welcoming, I think Meghan and I got invited to 3 different homes if we ever needed anything : ) And the blessings just keep coming, can't thank God enough : ) One woman, Peggy, invited us to lunch and her CHAUFFEUR drove us to Burger King hahaha! It was a lovely little lunch and then they acutally took us right to front of the museum that we wanted to visit, I can't believe this is my life : )
Meghan and I are in the same art class so we visited the Museo Nacional de Bella Artes to begin our first practical work for the class. We spent around 2 hours in the museum looking around and working on identifying all the different artistic movements. Very beautiful museum and afternoon! Trying out a new salsa place tonight! Before I leave the South I will be ready for my shot at Dancing With the Stars : )) Kinda feeling pretty tired as of this movement, but I know once that rhythm starts... I'll be ready to rock! : )

| I think we fit everyone in this picture! We pretty much took up half the place! |
 |
| Literally, "Follow the Cow" : ) |
 |
| We spent a good 45 minutes afterwards taking stupid pictures and chatting, no one is ever in a hurry to get anywhere and I love it! |
 |
| Pictures such as this beauty... : ) |
