Sunday presented a pretty lazy day around here! Went church with Emma and then enjoyed a pizza lunch with Gloria and Emma. We spent the day relaxing around the house and such! Kind of nice to take a day to rest : ) We were invited by the youth group at the church to their annual youth retreat in 2 weekends and Alexis, Emma and I are planning on going : ) A bunch of youth from all over Argentina ages 13-22 all get together for the weekend and stay outside of the city where they fellowship, have group discussions, music, speakers and games! Sounds like it is going to be a blast and I am really excited about the opportunity! I was a camp counselor this past year with FCA and there were two exchange students from Japan in my group and I am interested to see how it will be on this side of the language barrier, it will be another challenge but I am so excited to see all that God has planned for the trip!

| If nothing else, I now have this sweet, retro, glass bottle Gatorade as a souvenir from "Running Team" |
Another Monday with my solo grammar class where I accidentally did the pages assigned instead of individual exercises... oops! Nothing like a few extra hours of practice right? : )) The University has a Running Team and so I went running with them for the first time tonight! Yikes! There were ultimately two groups, a group of about 5 girls and 1 guy from the states that are training for marathons (literally) and then my group! : )) There was myself, 2 Argentine girls, another polevaulter from the states (of course : )) and an Argentine guy! We ran 8 kilometers I guess, I didn't bother converting but the route we took was really fun. I ran with Mary (Maria) from BA and we were able to talk the whole time, I talked in Spanish and she talked in English so that way we could both practice : )) She is studying to become a lawyer and it was so cool to be able to do a sort of language exchange while running, hahah who would have thought?!? : ) Planning on sticking with the club, they run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and maybe next time Maria and I will pick it up a little faster than conversation pace... or maybe not : ))
Bailey!
